TXTPERIENCE

Tonights message was about the fruit of the Spirit… Here is the Txts…

Welcome to tXtperience, a txtmsg worship event. You will get a series of msgs with instructions to follow. Take your time and enjoy this time with God.

You will need a piece of paper and a pen tonight. If you have a bible handy that will help to. Msgs will come about 10min apart. Tonight’s Verse is Gal 5:22,23;

“But the fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

Fruit in this verse is plural; as a Christian you have them all. Think of times in your recent life you have experienced each one. Pray thanks to God for each.

On your paper write down someone who you should love but really don’t. List their good qualities. Ask God to show a specific needs to meet for them.

Look at your list. Confess to God the times you overlooked these qualities when around this person. Pick a need you can meet & a time to do it. Write it down.

Thank God for His fruit in your life. Ask that He honors your time & prayers tonight & pray a blessing for the person on your paper.

You’re all done! Now go & do what you wrote down; tell them about what you did. Take a sec & respond to me with your thoughts or leave one at challengemsc.com!

Leave me a comment!

Cleaning up a bit

Sorry if this looks lame… The huge backgrounds and fancy transparency effects were taking a toll on the average user’s computer.  So, I picked a more simple theme…  I hope you all like it well’nuff.

If you just participated, leave your impressions here for all to see!  WOO HOO!  Technology is grand!

Link of the Day – Church 2.0: The Church on the Web

20 09 2006

There is a cultural shift going on in the church.  Beyond your “THIS IS MY CHURCH” webpage that every “modern” church has, there is a move from to a new Web 2.0 format (if you don’t know what Web 2.0 is, click the word).  Check out this article from RED HERRING:

Religion Sites Embrace Web 2.0
